1. Turn off the power to your chosen light fixture.

2.  Remove the existing bulb and replace it with The Locator 911 Freedom.

3.  While close to the fixture, turn on the power switch and press the WHITE button on the remote 3 times within the first 30 seconds of powering on the fixture.

4.   The bulb is now paired with the remote so it can be used just like a regular bulb!

5.    Use the white button on the remote to turn the regular white light feature on and off.  The bulb will remain connected if the power switch is turned off.

6.    To activate the emergency flashing pattern simply push the RED button on the remote and the bulb will change to the color changing and strobing beacon for first responders to see.

7.   To stop the flash pattern simply press the red or white button.
